Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Bob Welch has been found dead. He died from a single gunshot wound to the chest which police believe was an act of suicide.
It has been reported that 66-year-old Mr Welch was suffering health problems but no details have been released. A suicide note was found at the scene.
Sky News have reported that "The police are investigating it as a suicide, and there was no evidence of foul play," Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron said" His body was discovered by his wife.
Tributes are being paid for the musician who was at one time an integral part of what had become the super group Fleetwood Mac. He left the band to pursue a solo career.
