You can support the runners by giving generously. For many, including this blogger, they will know at least one person who will be running in this marathon. It is usually easy to sponsor a runner with as much or as little as you can afford.
The race has its participants pounding the Sreets of London. Plenty of people turn out to cheer the runners on. The less experienced marathon runners may choose to walk or take hours to complete the course but it is all good fun. The experienced runners who are racing as a serious event will bring up the front of race, no doubt from start to finish.
Fun runners will include some famous faces and many people dressed in ridiculous costumes. You can watch the whole race on Sunday Morning UK TV or catch highlights later in the day.
April in the UK can be a muixed bag as far as weather is concerned. This year there should be no overheating problems but rather the reverse. It is currently wet and cold. The forecast is not good. Still it will not stop the runners nor the spectators from having a great day. Here hoping you raise loads of money.
If you are currently visiting London be warned the event will impact at least in part on your travel.
