A new model plane carrying invited guests has disappeared over rugged country in Indonesia. The plane, part of a marketing junket, was carrying a Russian crew and guests who boarded in Jakarta. The search area is concentrated around 7 000 ft. Mt. Salak.

The plane on a second routine fam flight of the day disappeared from radar after changing altitude from 10 000 ft. to 6 000. There was no crew explanation. No one reported hearing any explosion or seeing any fire. The plane was reported to be carrying four hours worth of fuel.

The Russian news service RT is reporting the possibility that the new, super-jet was hijacked.

“However, Indonesian aviation authorities have not ruled out that the aircraft was hijacked. They say that in case of a crash, an emergency beacon should have imminently gone off, which did not happen.”RT

It has also been reported that some of the passengers’ cell phones are in working order although no one is answering them.
