Vinokourov takes Gold in mens Olympic road race

Alexander Vinokourov took the gold medal for Kazakhstan in the men’s road race. He and Columbian cyclist Rigoberto Uran made it at two man race at the end of the five hour 46 minute competition. Alexander Kristoff of Norway claims the bronze for this event. The powerhouse Brits failed to claim the podium. It was a thrill to see the Queen and her take on humor when Daniel Craig had the honor to escort her to a helicopter and then as a participant in the rouge of Her Majesty appearing to jump from the helicopter and land on the grounds at the 2012 Olympic games. Romanian beggars and pickpockets flood into London
London is set for a busy couple of months. The Queen's Jubilee celebrations have in part begun culminating with some spectacular events in June 2012. Then in July the London 2012 Olympics will start. Tourists from across of the country and the Globe are expected to flood into London. Sadly they will not be the only ones. Media sources have reported today that an influx of people from Romania is being experienced in London. Many if not all are said to be either beggars, prostitutes or pickpockets.
