Sunday nights results show was the usual stuff. The results show was padded out to last an hour although it could have all been over with in ten minutes.
One of last year's X Factor finalists, Cher Lloyd performed as did Nicole Sherzinger. Cher looked to be wearing a baby's skirt complete with frilly knickers. What do I know though? Nicole's performance knocked Cher's out of the water, IMHO, but then she has more experience and stage presence.

The results were a little unexpected as the bottom two were Sophie Habibis and surprise, surprise, Misha B. Perhaps the week's bad press had took its toll on Misha B's vote. That girl can sure sing and will be a star with or without X Factor. Watching her tears flow, when she looked in danger of elimination, you realise just how vulnerable the contestants are. Also how manipulated by gossip and the media.
In the end you knew the judges would save Misha.
There is nothing wrong with Sophie but she was just not in Misha's league. Perhaps the voting British Public had rallied to Janet Devlin's side when she feared elimination. We are so fickle.
Misha has learned a valuable X Factor lesson that it is not how good you are but how popular. A sad fact of X Factor life.
