Bisphenol A and poisonous cat food

Are you poisoning your pet cat with bisphenol A (aka BPA)? Apparently I have been every morning when I feed kitty his meat ration from the pop-top cat food can. Bisphenol impregnated plastic lines the metal can. When the canning process heats the meat inside, a minute amount of BPA can migrate into the cat’s food. The white plastic coating on the interior of the can is to prevent corrosion. Kitty has had basically the same routine for over ten years.
