The Iraq war toppled the country's regime leader Sadam Hussein but Iraq remains a volatile, wrecked country. Many military personnel died. Tens if not hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians were killed.
The war is classed as an illegal war. There is no doubt that if the situation was reversed and Bush and Blair were non-western leaders on the other side they would have been held to account.
Now however it seems that will never happen.
If the Chilcot inquiry's findings are being stifled by Washington why did we waste some much time and money holding an inquiry?
