Toronto Mayor, and sometime figure of fun, Mayor Rob Ford is back in the news after ABC's Jimmy Kimmel posted footage on his live show of a bunch of Toronto councillors getting into the Christmas spirit, enjoying an impromptu dance.
Early Tuesday Rob Ford, the self-confessed crack smoking Toronto Mayor, and other councillors got down and dirty in the hallowed halls of government, prompting comedian Jimmy Kimmel to ask jokingly:
"What the hell is going on? Are they all on crack?"
After a tense few weeks, following Rob Ford's admission last month that he had smoked crack cocaine, they must have all enjoyed letting their hair down. They sure looked as if they did.
A local jazz trio performed as the councillors danced, in Mom and Dad style of course. To the music of Bob Marley they all bobbed about as the trio played "One Love".
CTV news reports, Jimmy Kimmel commented:
"One minute they're yelling at each other and the next they're dancing all around the room," joked Kimmel, who added that the "Mayor Ford experience" has been very educational. "For a while, I thought it was just Mayor Ford, but what I've realized is Canadians are much, much weirder than any of us had any idea they were," joked Kimmel".
Well, Mr Kimmel, Canadians may have something to say on that score!
