- Buy a variety of pretty sarongs as they will be a good cover up against the sun, and maybe over the worst parts of your body when you are not in the water.
- Avoid thongs at all costs. This applies to plus size males also. Let's face it they only look good on a perfect figure, and a young one at that.
- Plus size men have a little more choice than of late. They can opt for flattering swim shorts. These still need to fit well and preferably be designed to fit the waist not lurk around the hips.
- Make sure your choice fits you well in all the right places. It may look great from the front but does your bottom hang out at the back? Try the swimwear on, if you can, in a changing room that has mirrors all the way around for a complete view.
There is much more choice and variety in plus size swimwear these days. Specialist suppliers on-line will no doubt be able to provide just what you need. However, you really need to try a few different styles first before you decide which is for you. If you cast a critical eye at yourself in a full length mirror, whilst trying on different options, you will soon see what works for you and what does not. Achieving a great look may cost a little more in time, effort and money but it will be worth it for the confidence you will feel. Once you are wearing your chosen swimwear relax and enjoy it. Once you can do this no-one worth anything will notice your size anyway.
